So now we get a full lockdown on Saturday and Sunday both... yay corona 😭Anyways hope y’all are having a nice stay at home weekend depending on where you are and here is a little Saturday studying motivation!
This was one of the best mixed grills I ever had! The grills included chicken, kebab, meat and doner all of which were tender. The bulgur under was perfection! It also came with a side of çig Kofta and a tomato spicy salsa! Sooooo good! I don’t know the name of the place unfortunately, it was this random place I walked into and got this takeout cuz it smelled good 😂 Always trust your sense of smell
I said spring was starting but it snowed today 😂❄️ I was so happy cuz the other three times, it snowed in Istanbul this year, I was in Qatar! Love the snow ⛄️
Today on my regular commute I saw those beautiful cherry blossom trees! I had to take a picture. The end of winter and start of the spring season in Istanbul ✨
I might get killed for saying this but I was never into Turkish delights, the consistency is way off for me and most of them are way too sugary! I did come across those chocolate stuffed ones and I tried them... game changer they are absolutely delicious 🤤 they have a bitter coffee powder on the outside to balance the gooey chocolate on the inside! They are perfect give them a try when you visit turkey! They are sold in most Turkish delight shops.
A little update on life since I’ve been MIA:
